Material Options

Choose Your Style

We install all residential fence types. Every material is sourced from trusted suppliers and suited for Ottawa's climate.

PVC / Vinyl Fencing

The most popular choice for Ottawa homeowners. PVC fencing doesn't crack, rot, or warp — even through extreme freeze-thaw cycles. Available in privacy, semi-privacy, and picket styles in a range of colours. Near-zero maintenance required.

From $75 / linear ft | Lifetime Material Warranty

Wood Fencing

Classic look with natural beauty. We work with cedar and pressure-treated lumber for fence boards, rails, and posts. Cedar is naturally rot-resistant and can be stained or painted to match your home. Customizable heights and styles.

Mid-range pricing | Cedar & Pressure-Treated

Hybrid Fencing

The best of both worlds — a wood-look appearance with the durability of PVC. Hybrid fencing uses a composite or polymer material that replicates the grain and texture of wood without the maintenance. Modern, sleek, and long-lasting.

Premium option | Extended Warranty Available

Chain Link Fencing

The most cost-effective solution for securing larger properties. Galvanized or vinyl-coated chain link is strong, durable, and low maintenance. Ideal for backyards, dog runs, utility areas, and properties requiring clear sightlines.

From $40 / linear ft | Most Affordable

Iron & Steel Ornamental

Premium security with striking aesthetics. Iron and steel ornamental fencing adds a classic, high-end look to any property. Available in a range of decorative styles, heights, and powder-coat finishes. Custom gate options available.

Premium pricing | Custom Designs Available

Gates & Hardware

Every fence needs a gate. We fabricate and install matching walk gates and drive-through gates for all fence types. Available in single or double configurations, with auto-latch and lockable hardware options to complete your installation.

Questions

Fencing FAQs

Ottawa bylaw allows up to 7 feet (approximately 2.1 metres) for a backyard fence. Front yard fences are generally limited to 1 metre. We check all bylaw requirements as part of our consultation.

Pricing varies by material and length. Chain link starts from around $40 per linear foot, PVC/vinyl from $75 per linear foot, and wood sits in between. Iron and ornamental steel are priced as premium. We provide exact itemized quotes at no charge.

PVC fencing doesn't crack, rot, or warp — even in Ottawa's extreme winters. It requires near-zero maintenance (no staining, painting, or sealing), and carries a lifetime material warranty. Over a 10–20 year period, PVC is almost always the more cost-effective choice.

We assist with permit applications where required by the City of Ottawa. Most standard residential fences do not require a permit, but we verify this during the consultation phase and handle the paperwork if needed.

Most residential fence installations are completed in 1–2 days. Larger properties or complex layouts (gates, corners, grade changes) may take an additional day. We give you a realistic timeline before work begins.

All our installations come with a 2-year workmanship warranty. PVC and vinyl materials carry a lifetime manufacturer's warranty. If anything fails due to installation, we return and fix it at no cost to you.
